I know the (non-PS3) earlier players weren’t as likely to have the connections necessary to update them, but don’t the BR players require an ethernet connection to update? (Not trying to knock it, or anything, but just wondering how ‘common’ an ethernet connection would be for the general public.)

I’d like to buy this player but I have a question.
I’d like to ask you if this players can read DVD DTS audio tracks.
I’ll connect this players by the coaxial output to an external receiver able to decode the DTS digital signal (the Creative ddts-100).
In this mode i can listen the DTS audio?
