There are no hacks that I know of for any BluRay players. I have seen a very few BluRay players sold in the USA that have hardware modifications (which makes them cost about 60% above the normal price) that allow BluRay playback in zones A & B (but not C) and DVD playback in regions 1 & 2 (not 3-6). There is only 1 lense
From doing a web search, it seems that your player requires hardware modification to become region free and there are no codes entered by remote control to do the job. So if that is right, what that means is that in the process of moving the player, you somehow caused the hardware mod to come loose. You’ll need a repair.
